The meaning of this small word
So caught up in inevitability…
With this one word, breath is slowly exhaled from the earth.
Like a vapor in the ocean we are nothing.
But like one grain of sand we make the beach one.
Hope is nothing but a cure,
but once this realization is known,
All Hell will break loose to find that This Life brings purpose.
Purpose not to fight and lose.
But to fight and win this neverending battle
that we call Life.

The price of beauty...
Beauty… These days it’s just so skin deep, so superficial, so damn shallow. I blame the media mostly. I look around and all I can see is this reflected image of ‘perfection’ or someone’s idea, or perception of this ‘perfect girl’ I even look at Disney channel and see these immensely thin girls. A girl’s self esteem is shattered instantly if she doesn’t have the perfect body, or the perfect hair, or the perfect anything. But get this; the media makes this image so absolutely unobtainable. Photoshop, beauty products, make-up… There’s your perfection. It does not exist. A girl cannot walk out of her house with her hair up, no make-up on and sweatpants and still be called ‘beautiful’ instead she would suffer ridicule. I don’t understand why this isn’t considered beauty, why one has to have her face smothered with make up or photo-shopped until it doesn’t even resemble her. So many girls, starting from the very early age of eight are starving themselves due to this complete and utter idiotic idea of ‘beauty’. It simply infuriates me. Just remember: You are beautiful. Don’t you dare let anyone convince you otherwise.

I just want to hurt people when i see them with the perfect face, the perfect body, the perfect friends, the perfect things, the perfect style, the perfect hair, the perfect family, the perfect job, the perfect cash flow, the perfect home, the perfect smile, the perfect eyes, the perfect home, the perfect social life, the perfect life..

Dear Mom,
Thanks for everything that you’ve done for me and my brother and sister! You have sacrificed so much for us, including Dad, and there are never enough words to say how much I really appreciate you. I know we’ve had our disagreements before but they’ve all been for the best to teach each other lessons in life. I honestly cannot say how much you’ve shown me and taught me over the years but I can say how much of this has really shaped me into who I am today. Here’s to more love and more life lessons : )
